The Flying Theater transforms the bed of a truck into a full working performance stage, with lights and sound system, bringing theater and performing arts throughout the countryside of Pakistan.
Created in partnership with the Goethe Institut, The Flying Theater offers new opportunities and experiences for all ages, by captivating economically disadvantaged audiences in rural villages and small towns in Pakistan. These individuals and families have no access to a robust society, allowing them to grow up without social awareness and therefore falling victim to many societal issues.

They have courage they are brave! I have witnessed Thespianz Foundation's play "Hawas" on the subject of HIV AIDS.

Through this innovative method of sourcing art directly to the community, the Flying Theater brings together thought-provoking social theater performances with modern issues - including health, anti-drugs, LGBTQ+, and human rights.

Each performance through the Flying Theater shares experiences and touching on issues custom tailored for the audience. The inaugural performance in the Flying Theater was held at a public school, featuring commentary on HIV and AIDS directed at young people, because of the rising epidemic in Pakistan among youth. Other performances have ranged from self-esteem to finances and investments to understanding traffic laws to traditional regional folklore. The Flying Theater has been performed for groups up to 1,000 audience members.

I didn't watch any theatre in my whole life because I am the resident of an extremely remote village in Pakistan called Shaikh Bhirkio.

The Truck Theatre came and provide us with a live healthy entertainment including women empowerment awareness through comedy play.

The string that runs through all Flying Theater performances is humor - these shows are often comedic, allowing the audience to relax and feel entertained despite the underlying social commentary and awareness.
